Geneva Digital Health Day
The Geneva Digital Health Day (GDHD) is a unique international conference that brings together healthcare professionals, innovators, implementers, policymakers, and academic leaders who are committed to shaping the future of Digital Health.
The GDHD serves as a forward-looking platform to explore the latest trends, research insights, and critical issues in digital health on a global scale.
The inaugural edition of the GDHD took place on Thursday, May 30, 2024, alongside the World Health Assembly at Campus Biotech in Geneva. This successful launch was made possible through a unique collaboration with the Geneva Health Forum, the Global Initiative on Digital Health (GIDH), the University of Geneva, AI for Life, and Campus Biotech. This edition was also co-sponsored by the World Health Organization.
The event gathered over 800 participants and experts from the public and private sectors as well as academia, who engaged around cutting-edge presentations from more than 70 thought leaders in digital health. The first Geneva Digital Health Day featured an ambitious agenda supported by an open call for abstracts, presenting 50 sessions that included dynamic panel discussions, inspiring keynote speeches, and innovative solution pitches.
Participants had the opportunity to explore pioneering experiences and solutions in digital health focused on advancing Health Equity. High-level presentations addressed various topics, including strategies for closing the digital divide with AI, the responsible use of AI in diagnostics, and ground-breaking discussions on Generative AI in health. Additionally, fascinating exchanges highlighted the use of space assets for global health, such as utilizing remote sensing data to optimize access to emergency healthcare services in resource-limited settings.
Throughout the day, interactive workshops discussed problem-solving strategies in digital health, tackling issues such as sustainability barriers for clinical decision-support interventions and approaches for Inclusive Growth and Leadership to empower African women in the field of digital health.
GDHD is coming back in 2025
Building on the success of this first edition, we are looking forward to welcoming you to the second edition of the Geneva Digital Health Day, scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2025.
